Isn't It Strange

A recap of the 27th Anyfolk show at Väsen Forest Hill on 4/1/26

Most Anyfolk shows leave me feeling emotional just as a given, but the final song of the night last week at Väsen has been stuck in my head since I heard it. “Isn’t it strange,” sang Matt Jones, “how good my world is now?” And I have to say, on a personal level and on a larger scale, I feel that way. I feel like life has been hard, heavy, chaotic even, and yet I can look around and feel so awed by all the good in the midst of all the bad. I’m grateful to say that Anyfolk continues to be one of those good things.

The next Anyfolk is on Earth Day, 4/22, at Väsen Forest Hill. 6 PM social hour, 7 PM doors, FREE. Hope to see you there.
